NEWSLETTER WINTER 2010

Hi All,

Happy New Year hope you all had a good one. Thought you might like to see the first fish out of the lake this year. A big Redtail around 35-40kg followed by an Indian carp around 20kg the next morning, these fish fell to Will our good friend and returning customer from Holland. Will and his lovely wife Betty have spent the last 3 years over here in January, fishing at a number of venues, when the weather is any thing but kind over in Europe. They always find time to return to Teak Tree.

Following hot on the tail of Will & Betty, first time guests Mark & Carol from Ireland came for a stay with us for 5 days. Mark has captured some huge specimens in Thailand before including Arapaima to 250lb, but his time fishing with us did not see any huge specimens, but some new species for Mark which was just as enjoyable. The fish Mark was really hoping for though, the Goonch did not put in an appearance this time. Unfortunately for Mark, he bought with him from Pattaya some food poisoning which made his time less enjoyable, but we hope Mark & Carol return soon!.
